Organisation
The Memorandum of Understanding that was signed by the ten founding partners in May 2012 provides the framework for the collaboration. The Steering Committee is the main deliberative body of FELS OF EUROPE and is composed of one duly authorised delegate representing each partner. It has full powers and is responsible for considering and deciding on all matters of interest to the collaboration. It approves admission and exclusion of members and is also responsible for approving the budget as well as planning yearly activities. The Steering Committee is headed by a Chair who is elected for a term of two years from within the committee by fellow members.
A Management Board takes care of the daily business and overall coordination of the FELs OF EUROPE activities. The Management Board consists of the Chair and two Vice Chairs who are also elected from within the Steering Committee for a term of two years.
